John owns and operates "5ive6ixty Photographic" by John Metcalfe with his wife Sonya, in Alton, IL. With over 25 years of photographic experience, John's efforts concentrate on photographing people in their natural environment. He has enjoyed numerous accolades, including the Kodak Gallery Award, Fuji Masterpiece Award, Certified Professional Photographer Award, Missouri Top Ten, Illinois Top Ten, Missouri Non-Master Photographer of the Year, and most recently Mid-America Regional Conference Top Ten, and the Mid-America Regional Conference Photographer of the Year Award along with over 40 other awards at the local, state and international levels. John has obtained his Professional Photographer's Association Craftsman Degree, Certified Professional Photographer Degree and will receive his Master of Photography Degree in 2009.
